Policy Management
A policy without a supplier’s response is just a document.
TYS delivers each supplier policy as a questionnaire, assigned by location, product or service, and keeps every response on the supplier’s record. Responses that miss your threshold go to the right reviewer.
Where Supplier Policies Fall Short
Policies are easy to send. Keeping the responses together, current, and reviewed is harder.
One supplier, four gaps
FOUR GAPS
1. The Response Lives Somewhere Else
When a policy goes out as a document, the signed copy comes back to an inbox or a folder, not to the supplier’s record.
2. Not Every Supplier Gets the Right Policy
A code of conduct, a regional requirement and a product-specific term each apply to some suppliers and not others, and working out who should receive what takes manual effort.
3. No One Can Tell Which Answers Matter
Responses pile up, and reviewing every one is slow, so an answer that misses your standard can sit unnoticed.
4. Yesterday’s Answer Goes Stale
A supplier agrees once, then its circumstances change or a certificate expires, and nothing prompts anyone to ask again.
How TYS Closes Each Gap
TYS delivers each policy as a questionnaire and keeps what comes back on the supplier’s record.
Every Policy Is a Questionnaire
Use a TYS standard questionnaire or build one around your own requirements. Every response is stored on the supplier’s record, so a signed code of conduct isn’t left in someone’s inbox.
The Right Questionnaires Reach the Right Suppliers
Questionnaire groups and assignment rules send each supplier only what applies to its location, product or service, so a regional requirement doesn’t depend on someone remembering to send it. You can assign more at any point, even after onboarding, and the supplier is notified.
Responses That Miss the Mark Get Reviewed
Each answer is scored against the thresholds you set. A response that falls short is flagged and sent to the right team as an approval request, so reviewers spend their time on exceptions, not on every answer.
Suppliers Are Revalidated and Expiry Dates Don’t Slip
Revalidation runs on a configurable schedule, and you can also start one manually. Documents with an expiry date are easy to spot, so you can follow up before a certificate lapses.
THE RECORD
A Policy Record You Can Stand Behind
When someone asks whether a supplier met a requirement, the answer is on the supplier’s record, not in an inbox.
Every response, kept
Each questionnaire response is stored on the supplier’s record, with notes only your team can see.
History that shows what changed
Relationship history records the events on each supplier, and version history shows changes to the fields you configure.
Export when you need it
Download questionnaire responses to Excel for an audit, a review or a customer request.
