On April 16, NC TECH—the leading voice for North Carolina’s technology industry—announced the 2025 NEXT TECH Award winners, honoring exceptional contributors who drive growth in the state’s tech and tech-enabled companies. We are proud to share that Trust Your Supplier’s Director of Product Strategy, Shyam Adivi, has been recognized in the Tech + Innovation category.
Shyam’s journey has roots in a strong technical foundation, having developed SaaS solutions utilizing advanced technologies like blockchain across India, the UK, and the US. This diverse experience made him an ideal fit for Trust Your Supplier. In TYS’s early days, Shyam wore multiple hats—developer, tester, and deployment lead—working closely with early adopters to refine our Supplier Management Platform. He fondly recalls meeting with customers in the afternoon to gather feedback, implementing enhancements for their review by the next day, showcasing his commitment to continuous improvement.
As he’s progressed to leading our Product Strategy, Shyam combines his technical expertise with a deep understanding of business challenges faced by procurement teams globally. His natural curiosity drives him to experiment, measure, and innovate, ensuring TYS remains at the forefront of supplier management solutions.
Beyond his strategic role, Shyam is a dedicated mentor to our technical staff. He encourages team members to look beyond coding, fostering an understanding of the business issues their work addresses. This approach not only enhances the team’s problem-solving capabilities but also keeps TYS aligned with the evolving needs in the dynamic landscape of supplier management.
Outside of work, Shyam enjoys gardening and following cricket. His family, with 2 young children, keeps him busy and balances his professional commitments with a rich personal life.
